Savoyard Tartiflette
Tartiflette, the ultra-comforting mountain dish: tender potatoes, bacon and onions, all smothered in melted reblochon and baked golden. Rich, generous and convivial, it's the ultimate winter dish to share after a day out in the cold.
Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 reblochon cheese
- 200 g bacon lardons
- 2 onions
- 100 ml white wine
- 200 ml cream
- Salt, pepper
Method
- 1Boil the potatoes, then slice into rounds.
- 2Fry the lardons and sliced onions.
- 3Deglaze with white wine.
- 4Mix potatoes, lardons, onions and cream in a dish.
- 5Halve the reblochon horizontally and place rind-side up.
- 6Bake for 25 minutes at 200 C until golden.
