Chicken Caesar Salad
Homemade Caesar salad: crisp romaine lettuce, golden chicken, homemade croutons, parmesan shavings and a creamy, punchy Caesar dressing. A generous starter or a light main, ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts
- 2 chicken breasts
- 80 g parmesan
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 anchovy fillets
- 1 tsp mustard
- Lemon juice, olive oil
Method
- 1Cut the chicken into strips and pan-fry over medium-high heat until golden.
- 2Make the croutons: diced bread fried in oil.
- 3Blend mayonnaise, garlic, anchovies, mustard, lemon and parmesan for the dressing.
- 4Wash and cut the romaine.
- 5Toss salad, chicken, croutons and dressing.
- 6Top with parmesan shavings.
