Chicken Chow Mein (Stir-Fried Noodles)
Wok-style chicken stir-fried noodles, ready in 25 minutes: tender noodles, golden chicken, crunchy vegetables and a tasty soy-ginger sauce. Quick, complete and far better than takeout, it's an express dinner the whole family loves.
Ingredients
- 250 g Chinese egg noodles
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 carrot
- 1 pepper
- 100 g cabbage
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 piece of ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
- 1Cook the noodles per the packet, drain and set aside.
- 2Cut the chicken into strips and julienne the vegetables.
- 3Stir-fry the chicken over high heat until golden.
- 4Add garlic, ginger and vegetables, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- 5Add the noodles, soy sauce and sesame oil.
- 6Toss over high heat for 2 minutes and serve at once.
